The new Materica collection is inspired by the beauty of nature in its colours, the purity of nature in its shapes, and the strength of nature in its artisanal craftsmanship. The result is a sophisticated furniture line born from the creative flair of the talented designer Lucia Ippolito, with the aim of celebrating matter in its purest and most authentic forms, exploring the endless possibilities of craftsmanship.

A mission reflected in the refined design of the furniture: through the selection of fabrics, woods, metals and stones, the brand has captured the essence of nature, transforming it into exclusive furnishing elements.

LUCIA IPPOLITO

Designer

Born in 1985 and influenced by nearby Florence, she has always cultivated a multifaceted creativity, expressing herself through drawing, painting, watercolor, sewing, and sculpture. She studied Industrial Design and obtained two Master’s degrees in Yacht Engineering and Feng Shui Design, driven by her desire to explore various fields of design.
Trained in Milan, she worked in Samuele Mazza’s studio and in the creative team of Versace Home. In 2017, she founded the MADâme Dessin studio in Florence, working as Product Designer and Creative Director for several companies. Her interdisciplinary creativity is expressed in lamps, accessories, textiles, graphics, iconic products, artwork, and home fragrances.
Her creations, inspired by fashion and nature, express the poetry of flowers in their forms, strength in craftsmanship, and functionality in their colours. Her aim is to surround us with harmonious beauty, combining artisanal tradition with sustainable innovation.
